On November 28, the “Fourth Quarter Key Project Signing and Commencement Ceremony,” part of the Gulei Development Zone’s series of events themed “Striving for the 15th Five-Year Plan: Attracting Investment to Build a Brighter Future,” was successfully held. There are 8 projects that are being signed and launched in this round, with a total investment of around 14.369 billion yuan. These include petrochemical industry projects aimed at strengthening the industrial chain, as well as utility infrastructure projects that support the development of the parks. There are also innovative projects designed to foster green emerging industries and a circular economy framework. These projects are of great significance for enhancing the infrastructure in our region, strengthening industrial clusters, and accelerating progress toward higher quality and better standards. It is reported that the project to commence construction on-site in our district this time is the Huaneng 2×660,000-kilowatt cogeneration unit project ； The projects subject to centralized signing include Chi Mei Chemical’s expansion to produce 40,000 tons per year of PC composite alloys; Gulei Juyong Energy’s facility for the comprehensive recovery and utilization of 320,000 cubic meters per day of chemical waste to produce LNG; Jiahe Juneng’s plant for producing 360,000 tons per year of low-carbon cyclic refined new materials; Tonghui Kefa’s production of special electronic new materials; and Jinghan New Materials’ production of nanoscale core-shell toughening agents. Since the beginning of this year, the Gulei Development Zone has continued to deepen and expand the “Three Strivings” initiative. By carrying out activities such as the “Year of Striving for Excellence in Industrial Development and Project Construction” as well as the “Three Comparisons and One Inspection” competition, it has made great efforts to promote the excellent work style of acting promptly and working diligently. The zone is accelerating the construction of a world-class, high-end, intelligent, and green petrochemical base, ensuring the continuous progress of projects and the rapid renewal of the industry, thereby laying the foundation for a successful conclusion to the 14th Five-Year Plan and a smooth start to the 15th Five-Year Plan.
