The 60,000-cubic-meter butane cryogenic tank for the Jieyang Pugong LPG cryogenic tank project was successfully completed. Recently, the Jieyang Pugong LPG cryogenic tank project, undertaken by the Hainan branch, reached an important milestone: the gas jacking of the cryogenic tank with a single capacity of 60,000 cubic meters was completed successfully. The project is located in the Dananhai Petrochemical Industrial Zone in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, covering an area of about 300 mu. Once fully completed, the project will effectively fill the gap in strategic LPG reserves at the first-level level in Jieyang City. It will provide stable raw material supplies for the chemical enterprises located downstream in the Dànánhǎi Petrochemical Industrial Zone, while also offering safe and clean energy to CNOOC’s end-users as well as residents and industrial customers in eastern Guangdong Province. It holds great strategic significance for promoting high-quality economic development in the region and ensuring energy security.
