At 8:50 on December 16, the boiler drum of the power station unit, constructed by the Nantong Blue Sea New Materials Project Department of the Fifth Branch, was successfully lifted into place for the first time, marking progress in the construction of the power station unit. At the lifting site, upon the command to lift given by the on-site chief commander, the 59-ton boiler drum was slowly raised with the assistance of a 260-ton crawler crane. The task team strictly followed the special lifting plan, sequentially and smoothly carrying out key processes such as lifting, rotating, translating, and positioning, to safely and accurately install the boiler drum in the predetermined location. Throughout the entire lifting process, the on-site command system operated efficiently with clear divisions of labor; personnel in various positions worked closely together to monitor the equipment’s operational parameters and lifting posture in real time, ensuring the stability and safety of the boiler drum during lifting. As an important utility facility for the Nantong Blue Sea New Materials project, the power station serves the critical role of providing a stable energy supply to the production facilities. The successful lifting of the boiler drum created favorable conditions for the subsequent installation of the boiler itself, pipeline work, and system commissioning.
