Green Hydrogen and Smart Energy Integration Demonstration Project in the Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone, Urumqi, Xinjiang, with an investment of 620 million yuan

This project is located in the Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone (Industrial Zone) in Urumqi, Xinjiang, and was invested in and constructed by Jiangsu Fushibao New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The project will make use of Urumqi’s abundant renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power. It will employ a photonic hydrogen production system, and through advanced alkaline water electrolysis technology, convert the volatile green electricity into green hydrogen that can be used in various applications. Additionally, the project features long-term energy storage capabilities, and hydrogen storage can be utilized for power generation to help regulate the grid’s frequency and load, thereby achieving integrated development of wind, solar, hydrogen, storage, transmission, and utilization. Upon completion, the project will be able to produce 150,000 tons of green hydrogen, 600,000 tons of green methanol, and 400,000 tons of green ammonia per year. The project investment amount is 620 million yuan.
