The steel structure of the extrusion and granulation plant for the polypropylene production unit in Fujian Gulei’s 1.5 million tons per year ethylene and downstream processing complex project has been successfully completed, 15 days ahead of the originally planned 45 days, thus setting a new record for the speed of project construction. This facility has an annual polypropylene production capacity of 550,000 tons. The steel structure of the extrusion granulation plant reaches a height of 125.5 meters. Not only is it the largest polypropylene facility in the world in terms of scale, but its steel structure height also ranks first among similar facilities; it is moreover the tallest structure within the entire China-Saudi Arabia cooperation project.
