The central laboratory for the Tarim 1.2 million tons per year Phase II ethylene project was successfully handed over. Immersed in reading on a novel reader, new developments are taking place at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains, and good news is spreading along the banks of the peacock River. On December 27th, the central laboratory for this project, constructed by Huanqiu Sixth Construction Company, underwent a high-standard handover, marking the transition from the construction phase to the preparation stage for operational use. The central laboratory covers an area of 5,600㎡ and serves as the \"eyes\" of the ethylene project as well as the \"hub\" for quality control. Since the project commenced on September 6, 2024, the project team has faced various challenges such as a tight schedule and heavy workload. By making scientific plans and working backwards from the deadline, and adhering to the principles of \"safety first, quality foremost,\" they have made every effort to advance the construction work. During the project construction process, the project team relied on Party building to foster unity, placed emphasis on safety by putting people first, made targeted efforts to ensure timely completion, overcame all kinds of difficulties and challenges such as weather conditions, and successfully completed all aspects of the construction work—including civil engineering, the main structure, decoration, HVAC and fire protection systems, electrical and instrumentation installations, as well as various tasks related to the \"three inspections and four confirmations\" process—with high quality. During this period, a total of 730 tons of rebar was tied, 42,160 meters of telecommunication cables and 20,383 meters of electrical cables were laid, and 330 various types of equipment were installed, thereby achieving the set goal of zero accidents in terms of safety and quality.
It is understood that in the future, key facilities such as sample collection vehicles featuring Tower 2’s technology, unmanned analysis systems for melt index measurement in property testing, unmanned analysis systems for universal testing machines used in property testing, unmanned analysis systems for the entire water quality testing process, and unmanned processing systems for liquid samples in chromatographic analysis will be deployed. Ultimately, it achieves fully automated operation for the entire process, including sample transfer, physical property testing, water quality analysis, and chromatographic analysis of liquid samples. The establishment of intelligent laboratories will drive rapid progress in the offline testing, management, and analysis activities of petrochemical enterprises, thereby creating an efficient, standardized, and integrated enterprise quality management system. The clouds disperse to reveal true colors; the galaxy shines, guiding the journey. The central laboratory has achieved high-quality and high-standard completion of its construction. Adhering to the principle of \"delivering the facilities without transferring responsibilities,\" the project team continues to fulfill its duties as usual, making every effort to complete remaining tasks such as final adjustments and in-depth system testing, so as to ensure a smooth transition and successful operation of the central laboratory.
