Recently, the Sino-Saudi Ghulay PC&BPA integrated plant project, which is under the general contracting of China National Chemical Corporation Tianchen, made significant progress: the SS80200 35kV substation of the PC plant was successfully powered up in one go and achieved high-standard commissioning at the same time. This marks the official operation of the \"power heart\" that supplies electricity to the key process units such as BPA production, PC polymerization, and PC post-treatment, thereby providing a solid power foundation for subsequent plant debugging and trial production. The SS80200 substation is one of the largest power transformation and distribution facilities in the entire plant. To ensure a successful power connection on the first attempt, Tianchen Company’s project team worked closely with the client and the construction contractors, strictly following the established power connection plan and carrying out all necessary preparatory tasks such as equipment installation, protection setting, and insulation testing ； Through special inspections such as the “three checks and four determinations” and PSSR, over a hundred pending rectifications have been completed in total, thereby completely eliminating potential hazards ； During the power reception process, key operations such as impulse testing of the external cables, power supply to the 35kV busbar, and commissioning of the main transformer are carried out in an orderly manner.
