Environmental Impact Assessment Public Notice for the 320,000-ton/year Green Methanol Upgrade Project of Inner Mongolia Yigao Coal Chemicals I. Basic Information on the Construction Project Project Name: 320,000-ton/year Green Methanol Upgrade Project of Inner Mongolia Yigao Coal Chemicals Technology Co., Ltd. Location: Dalu Industrial Park, Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. Scope of construction within the existing plant site of Inner Mongolia Yigao Coal Chemicals Technology Co., Ltd.: With an investment of 247,399,600 yuan, this project will make use of the abundant biomass resources available in Inner Mongolia and its surrounding areas. By employing Yigao Coal Chemicals’ own cross-flow moving bed (external heat-type rotary furnace) technology, a new biomass carbonization facility will be built on the vacant land within the existing plant site. At the same time, the existing methanol production facilities as well as the circulating fluidized bed boilers will be upgraded. Upon completion of the project, it will be possible to produce 320,000 tons of green methanol per year and 60,000 tons of wood vinegar per year.
