Recently, the main structure of the extrusion granulation plant, which is a key facility in Zhejiang Yuanjin’s 2×300,000 tons per year polypropylene production facility and was constructed by the Shanghai branch of China National Chemical Engineering Third Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully completed. This marks a significant milestone in the construction of this facility, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of equipment and the overall completion of the project. As a key production facility in the polypropylene plant, this extrusion granulation building features a frame structure design, with a total of 5 floors and a height of 41 meters. It is characterized by a high degree of structural complexity and significant difficulties in vertical construction. Since the commencement of work on the upper structure of the factory building in mid-August 2025, the project team has faced various technical challenges, including those related to deep foundation pit handling, maintaining the stability of high-formwork structures, and achieving precise construction of multi-story beam and slab systems. Adhering to the principles of \"safety first, quality foremost, and efficient project execution,\" the team developed scientific construction plans, optimized resource allocation, and strictly controlled the quality of key processes such as steel bar binding and concrete pouring. Through lean management and technological innovation, they were able to overcome these construction difficulties, successfully completing the roof-capping phase and ensuring both timely project completion and high-quality construction results.
