Successful first-time trial operation of core equipment for blast furnace in Indonesia by SHANGU Recently, good news came from the construction site of an industrial park in Indonesia: the large-scale blast furnace gas surplus pressure recovery turbine power generation units and axial flow compressors supplied by SHANGU for the new blast furnace in that park were installed and tuned up, and their first-time trial operation was successful. The units are operating smoothly, with all technical parameters meeting the design requirements, thus laying a solid foundation for the smooth commissioning of the blast furnace. This industrial park is an important outcome of the cooperation between China and Indonesia under the Belt and Road Initiative, and it is also a major global hub for the nickel-iron stainless steel industry.
