On the 2nd of the month, the pouring of the independent foundation cushion for the degassing silo of the SHANMEI EVA plant, which is part of Phase 1 of the second phase of the SHANMEI Yulin Chemical project and is under the responsibility of the Yulin project team, was completed. This marks the official entry of the project into the civil construction phase, laying a solid foundation for the further progress of the work. It is reported that the degassing silo is the first unit project to begin construction in this project; the progress of its foundation and main structure construction directly affects the efficiency of subsequent silo installation tasks, making it the first key milestone in the civil engineering work. To ensure that the nodes are completed on schedule, the project team carried out thorough planning and meticulous organization, strictly adhering to construction standards and design requirements to efficiently advance all preliminary tasks. During the pile cap removal phase, the project team used an HS-180 hydraulic pile breaker to complete the removal of the caps from 116 piles with a diameter of 900 mm in just 2 days. The quality of these pile caps as well as the measures taken to protect the rebar were highly praised by the client, and these practices were presented as best practices at the quality review meetings.
