In accordance with regulations such as the Ministry of Environmental Protection’s “Notice on Issuing the <Guidelines for Making Public Environmental Impact Assessment Information Related to Construction Projects (Trial)>” (Huan Ban [2013] No. 103), and in order to solicit public opinions widely and improve environmental protection efforts, the project owner is now making public the full environmental impact assessment report for Yaochen New Materials (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd.’s new project aimed at producing 3 million square meters of PVB film per year. Project Overview: Project Name: Construction of a new PVB film production facility with an annual output of 3 million square meters by Shaochen New Materials (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd.; Developer: Shaochen New Materials (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd.; Nature of the project: New construction; Location: No. 66, Miaoer Road, Tangqiao Town, Zhangjiagang City; Total investment: The total investment amount is 30 million yuan, of which 1 million yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures, accounting for 3.33% of the total investment; Project details: A total of 30 million yuan is planned to be invested in this project. It is intended to lease Standardized Industrial Building No. 4 along with related facilities and equipment from Xinyi Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., with a leased floor area of 14,109 square meters. The raw materials and auxiliary substances include PVB powder (polyvinyl butyral), 3G0 plasticizer (triethylene glycol diisostearate), as well as other additives and auxiliary materials. The production process involves the receipt of raw materials, mixing, feeding, extrusion, shaping, on-line thickness testing, surface treatment, impurity detection, cooling, winding, and packaging for storage. Once completed, the facility will have the capacity to produce 3 million square meters of PVB film per year.
