Difficulties are even more challenging than adversities. Adversities have a direction and hope; they just require more effort. Difficulties, on the other hand, have no direction – one can easily lose or be abandoned in them. Yet, just as there is the struggle of rowing against the current, there is also the determination of a trapped animal that fights on
Often, adversity is simply a choice that requires great courage and the ability to overcome fear of the unknown future. To get out of difficult situations, long-term effort and perseverance are needed.
