The pilot run of the 15,000-ton AHF production facility at Zhonghua Chemical Xinxiangyun New Materials was successful. Recently, positive progress has been made in the phosphorus-fluorine new materials project invested in by Zhonghua Chemical Wuhuan Xiangyun Phosphorus-Fluorine New Materials (Hubei) Co., Ltd. This project utilizes the complete set of technologies for producing anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, developed by China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd., and makes use of fluorosilicic acid generated as a by-product from the wet phosphoric acid production process at Hubei Xinxiangyun New Materials Co., Ltd., to build a production facility capable of manufacturing 15,000 tons per year of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (AHF). The first trial run of the device was successful, producing high-quality products with a purity of 99.9%. The successful implementation of the project has enabled the green and efficient utilization of fluorine resources associated with phosphate mines.
