On April 10, in Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for a chemical production project that generates 300,000 tons of green hydrogen alcohol aviation fuel, with a total investment of around 3.557 billion yuan by Jiaze New Energy. This marks the official departure of this wind power company from its single core business, as it enters a new phase characterized by the simultaneous development of its two main areas of activity: new energy power generation and green fuels. This project is a landmark initiative by Jiaze New Energy in the field of green fuels, and it was invested in and constructed by its subsidiary, Heilongjiang Jiayirongyuan Green Chemical Co., Ltd. The project uses non-food biomass straws as raw material and employs a biomass fermentation and gasification co-production process, with the goal of establishing an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of green alcohol as well as a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production system. According to the plans, once completed, the project will have an annual production capacity of 320,000 tons of green alcohols. The main products will be green methanol and green ethanol. Production is expected to begin by the end of 2027, with the aim of meeting the growing demand for clean energy and low-carbon raw materials in industries such as shipping, aviation, and chemicals.
