On the afternoon of April 10, a mobilization meeting for the trial production of Huainan Saiwei’s project to produce 200,000 tons per year of lithium-ion battery electrolytes and related raw materials was held, marking the transition of this project from a phase of partial operation to the trial production stage. “The company mainly produces lithium-ion battery electrolytes and the corresponding carbonate solvents. Among them, the project for producing 200,000 tons of lithium-ion battery electrolyte per year is set to begin operations in phases by 2025, with an output value of over 20 million yuan for that year ； In the first quarter of 2026, production will exceed 2,200 tons, with an estimated output value of 50 million yuan, marking a strong start. ”Xu Jiliang, the company’s manager, told reporters that since the second quarter of this year, the company has been making continuous efforts, aiming for an annual production volume of 30,000 to 40,000 tons, with an estimated output value of 700 million to 800 million yuan. Reportedly, at present, for the project in Huainan Saiwei aimed at producing 200,000 tons of lithium-ion battery electrolyte annually, the inspections related to energy conservation and environmental protection are expected to be completed this month, laying a solid foundation for its official operation.
