Reply reward! ---------------------------------------------- The past decade has been a period of rapid development for China’s chemical industry, with the emergence of many new processes, products, and equipment. China’s chemical processing equipment has also seen significant progress, which in turn has contributed to the swift advancement of the petrochemical industry. Here, we have compiled some of the achievements and breakthroughs made by Chinese equipment manufacturers in terms of larger-scale production and greater use of domestic equipment. We invite everyone to share, discuss, and exchange ideas – let’s cheer for Made in China and support the development of chemical processing equipment! ========================== In December 2016, Lanzhou Lanshi Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully developed a super-large thin-walled bisphenol A diol (BYD) reactor with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons. The successful development of this equipment has solved the existing challenges associated with ultra-large thin-walled pressure vessels (with a diameter of over DN6000 mm), such as large diameters, thin walls, and the on-site manufacturing of composite panels. This has laid the foundation for the larger-scale production and domestic manufacture of such vessels. Its comprehensive technical level has reached the international advanced standard, filling the gap in domestic manufacturing technology for such equipment.
This project is carried out using the main equipment in the BDO plant of the Guodian Ningxia Yinglite 200,000 tons per year 1,4-butanediol production facility, namely the BYD reactors (BY-R8101/BY-R8161) (Ⅱ1807A/B-00). Through in-depth market research, and by comparing and evaluating various technical solutions, coupled with its many years of experience in manufacturing pressure vessels, Lanzhou Lanshi Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. focused on addressing technical challenges such as manufacturing processes, welding techniques, heat treatment processes, and on-site assembly. Extensive research and analysis were conducted to finalize the overall manufacturing plan. Due to the large diameter of the equipment’s casing, its complex internal structure, high requirements for manufacturing precision, and transportation constraints, it is necessary to ship the components separately for assembly on-site. Lansi adopted a super-large container mobile factory model to enable the on-site fabrication of ultra-large thin-walled pressure vessels (with a diameter of over DN6100 mm), thereby resolving the issue related to the independent core manufacturing technology for such equipment.
Let’s pay attention together, discuss together, and cheer each other on
