Project Name: Phase I Construction of Coal Clean and Efficient Utilization Technology Transformation Project for Zhongkun New Materials’ 2×600,000 tons/year Ethylene Glycol Production from Natural Gas Project. Nature of the Project: Technology transformation project. Contractor: Xinjiang Zhongkun New Materials Co., Ltd. National Economic Industry Category: C2522 – Production of coal-based syngas. Location: The project is situated within the existing factory complex of Zhongkun Company in the Shangku High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Korla. The geographical coordinates of the project site are: 85°22'21.307"E, 41°54'20.932"N. The geographical location of the project is shown in Figure 3.2-1, while the satellite imagery and surrounding areas are shown in Figure 3.2-2. Labor quota: The labor quota for this project is 155 people. Working hours: The production management staff for this project work on a single shift system, with 8 hours per shift ； The production department operates on a three-shift, two-shift system, producing 24 hours a day and 8,000 hours per year. Total investment and source of funds: The total investment for this project is 1,648,662,100 yuan, of which 494,598,600 yuan is raised by the enterprise itself, while 1,154,063,500 yuan comes from bank loans. Construction content and scale: The total area of this project is 141,170.8 m2 (211.65 mu). It involves the construction of one synthetic gas production line with an annual output of 14.8×108 m3/year, which includes a gasification unit, a purification unit, as well as various supporting facilities. Upon completion of this project, it will produce 14.8×108 m3 of syngas per year.
