Recently, the MARSA liquefied natural gas project, undertaken by the Oman branch of China National Third Chemical Engineering Construction Company, successfully completed the alignment and welding tests for the first connection of the GRE underground pipes. This marks a breakthrough of \"zero\" in the installation of underground pipelines, officially kicking off the construction of the GRE underground pipe project. Since the project began, facing various challenges such as a complex on-site environment in coastal areas and frequent cross-disciplinary operations, the project team developed a systematic approach, actively coordinated resources, and sent construction and quality inspection personnel to the manufacturing plant to undergo a comprehensive training program that lasted over two months and covered various pipe specifications and joint types. This ensured that the strict requirements of the client regarding the qualifications of the personnel were met from the very beginning ； Implement refined construction management by zone and section, arrange the sequencing of excavation and installation tasks in a scientific manner, and establish a coordinated mechanism covering the entire process from dewatering, excavation, support to installation, to ensure seamless integration between all stages ； Strictly implement the work permit and on-site supervision systems, strengthen traffic management plans; hold coordination meetings on a daily basis to dynamically optimize resource allocation and construction schedules, thereby ensuring safety and efficiency at the site ； Throughout the entire process, strict control is exercised over factors such as the temperature, humidity, and cleanliness of the construction environment, as well as the mixing of auxiliary materials, to ensure high-quality progress in the construction work. As a result, the alignment and bonding tests for the first pipe connection of the GRE pipes were successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality execution of this GRE pipe project. The one-time success of this initial pipe opening test not only verified the scientific nature of the construction plan and the standardization of personnel operations, but also marked a significant breakthrough in a key phase of the project, providing valuable experience for subsequent construction work.
