Recently, the approval for the industrialization project of Hubei Sanning Chemical Co., Ltd., which aims to produce 20,000 tons per year of fourth-generation refrigerants, was granted. The details regarding the project are as follows: Project name: Industrialization project for the annual production of 20,000 tons of fourth-generation refrigerants ； Construction unit: Hubei Sanning Chemical Co., Ltd ； Construction location: Yaojiagang Chemical Industrial Park, Zhijiang, Yichang City, Hubei Province ； Recorded amount: 1,035,950,000 yuan ； Project nature: New construction ； Construction contents: Build a fourth-generation refrigerant production line with an annual output of 20,000 tons, including 2 sets of HFO-1234yf production units with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons each, 1 set of methane chloride production unit with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons (accompanied by carbon tetrachloride disposal facilities), as well as related supporting facilities. The main products of the project are HFO-1234yf and chloromethane, while the by-products include dichloromethane, hydrochloric acid, etc.
