The 25th National “Safety Production Month” in 2026: Everyone should talk about safety and know how to handle emergencies; identify and address potential risks and hazards. -------------------------------------------------- On June 1, the results of the environmental protection inspection for the technical upgrade project of Dongying Chemical Co., Ltd. in Qingliu County, Fujian Province, which aims to increase the annual production capacity of electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride to 60,000 tons, were made public. The details of the project are as follows: Project name: Technical upgrade project to increase annual production capacity of electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride to 60,000 tons. Contractor: Dongying Chemical Co., Ltd., Qingliu County, Fujian Province. Location: Dalingkou area of the Fluorine New Materials Industrial Park in Qingliu County. Actual investment: 8 million yuan. Nature of the project: Renovation. Scope of the work: The design of the project involves adding oxidation pretreatment and distillation purification units to two out of the three existing hydrofluoric acid production lines (with a capacity of 30,000 tons each) in the new plant site (evaluated based on Lines AHF 2 and 3, which have already passed the environmental protection inspection). This will upgrade these units from those used for producing anhydrous hydrogen fluoride to ones capable of producing electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride； Originally designed to produce 60,000 tons of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, 8,000 tons of by-product fluorosilicic acid (40%), and 227,000 tons of by-product fluorgypsum per year, the plant has been modified to produce 60,000 tons of electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride, 8,000 tons of by-product fluorosilicic acid (40%), 2,500 tons of by-product hydrofluoric acid (30%), and 227,000 tons of by-product fluorgypsum annually. Scope and conclusions of acceptance: The environmental protection acceptance for the related projects is involved in the two 30,000 tons/year electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride production lines in the new plant site (one set each of oxidation mixers, oxidation tanks, and purification towers is added after the degassing towers for AHF Line 2 and Line 3). Based on the opinions of the acceptance team, the project meets the acceptance criteria, and approval for project acceptance is granted.
