On March 24, the Jiujiang Ecology and Environment Bureau approved the environmental impact assessment report for Jiangxi Lihua Chemical Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 10,000 tons of hexafluoropropylene per year, and made it public. Project name: Jiangxi Lihua Chemical Co., Ltd.’s project for an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of hexafluoropropylene ; Construction unit: Jiangxi Lihua Culture and Art Co., Ltd ; Construction location: Within the premises of Factory No. 1 of Lihua Cultural Industry in Matar Industrial City, Ruichang City, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province ; Project nature: Renovation and expansion ; Project investment: Approximately 223.61 million yuan ; Construction content and scale: A facility capable of producing 10,000 tons per year of hexafluoropropylene is planned (with 1,000 tons per year of octafluorocyclobutane as a by-product), along with supporting production facilities and a restaurant in the area in front of the factory. The construction of this project is divided into five parts: the main structure, storage and transportation facilities, auxiliary systems, utility systems, and environmental protection measures. The main project involves the construction of a new hexafluoropropylene production facility ; The storage and transportation project mainly involves the construction of 4 new 110-cubic-meter storage tanks for storing hexafluoropropylene products; other hexafluoropropylene tanks, perfluorocyclobutane tanks, methanol tanks, and solid chemicals storage facilities make use of existing ones ; Auxiliary and utility projects include the construction of new compressor rooms, refrigeration stations, and power distribution rooms, as well as the renovation of the cafeteria; the administrative office building, the production complex, the power supply system, the water supply system, and the steam supply system all rely on existing facilities ; Wastewater treatment projects, exhaust gas treatment projects, solid waste treatment projects, etc., rely on existing facilities.
