Tendering for the air separation unit project of the first-phase coal-to-oil project at Guoneng Hami, with a total investment of 55.97 billion yuan, was launched on May 29. Public bidding was initiated for the design of the air separation unit, the supply of complete sets of equipment, and technical services related to the **Energy Group Hami Energy Integration and Innovation Base Project (first-phase coal-to-oil project). Project Overview: The air separation unit of this project consists of 4 sets of air separation units with a capacity of 100,000 Nm³/h (O₂), a backup system, and an overall plant air compressor station, all of which are required to meet the plant’s demands for oxygen, nitrogen, as well as instrument/plant air. Among them, some dried air is drawn from the first stage of the air compressors in the 4 air separation units to supply the instruments throughout the plant as well as the plant’s general air needs. When the air separation units are operating, the air compression stations are shut down and kept in standby mode; whereas when the air separation units stop operating, the compressors in the air compression stations start up quickly to ensure a stable supply of air. The device utilizes mature technologies with advanced processes, high extraction efficiency, and low energy consumption. It is designed based on the principles of reliable operation, easy handling, good safety, and a continuous operating cycle of at least 3 years. It features motor-driven air separation compressors and boosters, full-low-pressure molecular sieve purification and adsorption, air pressure boosting and circulation, expansion mechanism cooling, high-pressure liquid expanders for power generation, internal compression of liquid oxygen, and a full-low-temperature distillation separation process. Scope of the tender: It includes technical licensing, process design, equipment design, procurement, manufacturing, supply, inspection, transportation, installation guidance, training, commissioning, and technical services for 4 air separation units with a capacity of 100,000 Nm³/h (O₂); these units are equipped with motor-driven compressors, have krypton-xenon depletion systems, and come with interfaces for extracting neon, helium, and argon fractions.
