The alarm configuration requirement for the IO point is SV:300 + DV:100 as an alarm, and DV:80 as another alarm. What does \"SV:300\" mean in this context? How do I set it up? ”+DV:100 alarm – does this mean that the \"high deviation\" setting in the deviation alarm settings is set to 100%? Thank you all
SV:300 is a given value
SV is the setpoint value, which refers to the desired value. DV is the deviation value, that is, the difference from the setpoint; generally, DV = SV – PV (the process measurement value), though different DCS manufacturers may have different definitions for this. +DV refers to the positive deviation alarm, that is, an alarm is triggered when the deviation is 100 or greater. -DV refers to the negative deviation alarm, that is, an alarm is triggered when the deviation is -80 or less. I have not used a central control system before, so this is just my personal understanding for reference only.
