I would like to ask what type of automatic control valve can be used in conjunction with a mass flow meter in chemical processing systems to achieve precise control of flow rate.
I have seen Emerson’s loading metering system. A mass flow meter and two ball valves, one large and one small. At the beginning, both valves are open; as the value approaches the set point, the large valve is closed first, and once the set point is reached, the small valve is closed.
There are pneumatic ball valves, as well as some electro-hydraulic valves
