The building codes exam still uses the 2006 version, and it’s not allowed to bring printed materials into the examination room! I bought all the relevant codes for my exam; they make good reference materials for work as well (http://shxch.997788.com)

Please note! It’s not every year that printed materials in bags are allowed into the examination room! It was really funny that time; the invigilator was surprised to see us bringing materials into the exam room and asked us, \"How is it allowed to bring materials?\" We replied that it was an open-book exam. Then, seeing that we all had bags full of materials, they let us in – it was okay to bring them in. Looking at the exam syllabus, I think bringing along books from Tianjin University and relevant associations, as well as books on building codes and petrochemical industry regulations, should be sufficient; there won’t be much pressure on the first day

This prohibition is likely due to issues related to intellectual property rights. As for the specifications, most of them can probably be found in the \"Chemical Process Design Handbook\"
I forgot to mention it – the Petrochemical Design Manual (2) contains all the examination guidelines. Bringing this book along, along with the Petrochemical Design Manual (4), is sufficient! You’ll be ready to go easily; no need to carry around a big box like others do!
