Need help with the yield on page 17 of the Association’s Guidelines*? Why isn’t the molar yield of maleic anhydride divided by 2? In other words, why is the yield of maleic anhydride calculated as (0.1383/2) / (210/106)?
I have the same question; please, experts, help me answer it
I think it should be divided by 2, but after checking many books, I found that the stoichiometric ratio is always 1; according to the definition, it indeed should be divided by 2
