How to interpret the motor model N34L-2 of a shielded pump? Different from ordinary motor models, it’s a source of frustration……
The shielded pump features an integrated motor and water pump design, with the pump and motor connected on the same axis. When manufactured by pump manufacturers, the N type corresponds to the counter-current type, which is also the pump model designation
There are separate pump models as well as separate motor models; they are not the same
This post was last edited by li*nji on 2015-6-4 at 16:03. Yes, the motor part can be outsourced; one just needs to return and install the impeller, or opt for a brand-name motor. After checking, this motor has a power of 8KW
N34L-2 is the motor model for Hamiltonian shielded pumps; N34L has no practical meaning and is merely a code, while the -2 at the end indicates a two-pole motor!
