Which are the washing areas of the slag skimmer? 1. Idler wheel 2. Chain near the drive end. What else? Why doesn’t the inner guide wheel (the smaller wheel that moves the guide chain forward without changing its direction) have flushing water?

Is the inner guide wheel a mechanical seal? Where exactly is the sealing water added?
This post was last edited by jensse on 2015-6-10 08:33. Inner idler wheel? It’s not necessary, right? Just rinse the leading wheel and the head wheel of the testing probe. For the first round, rinse it once after a certain period of time.
It’s the guide wheel located in front of the chain break detection wheel; the driving wheel is the one that powers the slag skimmer, the one connected to the motor’s chain.
Where is the detection wheel? Could you send a picture?
How does this sealing water work?

It exists because the inner guide wheel operates in slurry, and its purpose is to prevent slurry from entering and thus protect the bearings of the inner guide wheel.
The sealing water is connected by pipelines, so it should be possible to find it.
