At around 20:05 on September 9, 2016, an accident involving the overflow of material from a reactor occurred during production in the multi-functional workshop of Jiangsu Senxuan Pharmaceutical and Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”). The Company immediately sent the injured persons to Taixing People’s Hospital for treatment. The accident resulted in 5 people being injured, among whom Mr. Ma Feng, the company’s deputy general manager, died despite efforts by the hospital to save him due to the severity of his injuries. Immediately after the accident, the company activated its comprehensive emergency response plan for work safety incidents and reported to the relevant authorities in accordance with the prescribed procedures. According to official reports, at around 20:05 on September 9, 2016, a 2-ton reactor in the multi-functional workshop of Jiangsu Senxuan Pharmaceutical and Chemical Co., Ltd. experienced a material overflow during production. As a result of this incident, one reactor in that workshop was damaged, and the company is currently working to address the safety hazards resulting from it.
