Does your factory also have a dust recovery system (one for recovering dust from the granulation tower)? Check it on the tower and, depending on the situation, flush the filler used for dust recovery; this will definitely reduce the temperature at the bottom of the tower significantly. When the temperature is high, checking the ventilation system is indeed the right thing to do.
The suggestion from upstairs is correct; the dust recovery device at the top of the tower increases wind resistance...
It must be related to the granulation nozzles. For our machine, both the new one and the old one – the new one produces larger granules, but the temperature inside the tower is relatively high; during the hot summer months, we don’t use it and instead rely on the old one, although the granules produced by it may not be as good.
In the past, the temperature of the finished products leaving our company was too high, which caused the products to clump together. Later, this was achieved by adding air vents to the granulation tower and heat exchangers to the conveyor belt. It can be used as a reference.,
It is generally estimated that this situation occurs only when the load exceeds the designed level; if there are no issues with the top of the granulation tower, an air cooler can be installed at the dust removal inlet!
There is now a type of water-cooling equipment for cooling the urea at the exit of the granulation tower, which allows the temperature of the finished urea leaving the tower to be maintained around 40 degrees; this is equipment from abroad (and it seems to be available in China as well)
With external conditions remaining constant, the urea temperature at the bottom of the granulation tower is related to the falling speed of the urea droplets, as well as the air volume and wind speed entering the granulation tower. There are many specific reasons: design issues of the granulation tower, the transformation of small urea particles into larger ones, high tower resistance, etc. The measures consist of increasing the wind pressure and wind speed entering the tower, or reducing the temperature of urea within the tower.
Remove all the louvers at the bottom of the tower. We plan to install a fluidized bed dust removal system at the bottom of the tower, which can also serve to reduce temperature.
