What affects diesel prices? 3. The sales department has recently received a batch of goods labeled as “Takeout Level 2 M”. What kind of materials are these, and what is their specific purpose? ? The timing of price adjustments is quite intriguing. 2. What affects diesel prices? The price of diesel is basically tied to the farming season, that is, it is primarily influenced by seasonal factors. 3. I’m not sure about this; does it refer to MTBE of second quality that was purchased? MTBE is primarily an additive used in gasoline blending to increase its octane rating, but its total amount is limited by the oxygen content in gasoline, so it cannot be added in large quantities.

The Chinese name for MTBE is methyl tert-butyl ether; it contains one oxygen atom. If too much of it is used, the oxygen content in gasoline can exceed the specified limits. Therefore, the general addition level should be kept below 11%, though this depends on the properties of the other base oils used in the mixture.
MTBE (methyl tert-butyl ether, CH3-O-C(CH3)3) is the English abbreviation for methyl tert-butyl ether; it is an additive for gasoline that increases its octane rating (with an octane number of 115 according to testing methods). The chemical structure of MTBE contains oxygen atoms, and therefore adding it to gasoline raises its oxygen content.
