Safety valve vents and control valve vents have been added to the main pipe for medium and low pressure steam outer pipes. The main pipe is located on the top floor of the outer pipe gallery, at a height of 10.5 meters; a platform has now been added to this top floor to enable operation of the shut-off valves and to install silencers. After piping, it was found that the outlet pipe of the safety valve was located about 2 meters above the top of the pipe rack. Given a discharge capacity of 70 t/h, a large silencer is required; if a vertical structure is used, the installation height of its brackets is estimated to exceed 3 meters, resulting in a relatively high supporting structure. If a horizontal layout is chosen, a platform less than 1 meter in height can be constructed, with the discharge pipe located at a height of about 2 meters above the top of the duct bank. According to clause 8.2.5 of SH3012, steam pipelines with an operating pressure of 0.6 MPa to 4.0 MPa should be positioned at a height of more than 3 m above the operating platform or the roof of the building within a radius of 4 m centered on the safety pressure relief device. The top level of the outer pipe gallery is equipped with passageways as well as an operation platform for the cut-off valves, all within a radius of 4 meters.
