Is it a shutdown for maintenance, or can the maintenance be carried out without disrupting production? What preparations are needed for maintenance? 2. What if one of the switches breaks? Will it affect the overall production of the coke oven? If one of the switches fails, and this does not affect the overall production of the coke oven, what should be done with that switch? Thank you
Replace without stopping production; our company is facing severe blockages as well as corrosion and perforations
Generally, online maintenance and replacement can be carried out as long as production is not affected. Pay attention to safety during maintenance, especially to avoid mechanical injuries during the commutation process, and also be careful to prevent burns. If individual switches need to be replaced, appropriate production procedures can be followed: by stopping the supply of air to the combustion chambers adjacent to that switch, as well as stopping the removal of coke from the related carbonization chambers, the replacement can be carried out. When ordering the equipment, each type of switch comes with a spare unit, which is provided to prevent damage during installation and production. During maintenance and replacement, try to replace only the damaged parts; it’s better not to replace everything at once, as that takes too much time.
