Uneven settlement of the floor, or rather, of the tank foundation
During the pressure testing phase and normal operation, storage tanks may experience settlement. If the settlement is uneven and poses a safety risk, corrective actions are required. There are three types of such corrective measures: preloading, drainage, and jacking to correct the alignment; each type includes 1 to 2 methods, and the settlement adjustment tank is one of the methods under the third type.
