Everyone, I’m not very familiar with pipe couplings, and I would like to ask whether single-socket pipe couplings of the same size but with different main pipe dimensions are the same For example: DN100×20 HALF COUPLING, 20# NB/T47008, SW, CL3000, SH/T3410 and DN200×20 HALF COUPLING, 20# NB/T47008, SW, CL3000, SH/T3410

If there is no groove, it is a single-socket pipe clamp, a HALF COUPLING; the two versions of this product are exactly the same. If there is a groove, then it is a BOSS type, which is somewhat similar to pipe supports or branch fittings. There are still differences between the two, with the main difference lying in the curvature of the larger end. Since the main pipes differ, the size of the curvature also varies. The price remains the same in both cases
The name for HALF COUPLING has been decided. . This is a COUPLING. . . So, these two things are exactly the same. It’s just assigned to different supervisors. NB/T47008 is the standard that the material for this joint must meet. . The size standard for this fitting is SH/T 3410-2012
The lengths of the coupling and half coupling are independent of the main pipe size, so they should be of the same length; the American standard for this is ASTM B16.11. However, the branch pipe connections vary.
