Hello everyone! I appreciate your guidance. When selecting vortex flow meters or rotameters to be installed on oxygen pipelines, how is the flow rate of oxygen determined, and then is the diameter of the meter calculated based on this flow rate? When selecting turbine flowmeters or electromagnetic flowmeters to be installed on water pipelines, how is the flow rate of water determined, and then is the diameter of the flowmeter calculated based on that flow rate? I believe that the gauge size cannot be determined solely based on the flowmeter’s measurement range using sample data from the flowmeter; the flow velocity of the medium is very important. Thank you!
Vortex flowmeters and rotameters generally require specialized software provided by the manufacturer for selection, with the user supplying the parameters of the medium and the process conditions. For electromagnetic flowmeters, it is possible to select the appropriate diameter by referring to the manufacturer’s specifications along with the user’s required flow rate range.

Is it because no medication was taken or was too much medication taken?
Submit the process parameters, and the manufacturer will select the appropriate model; generally, the liquid flow meter needs to have its setting reduced by 1–2 levels.
Generally, the user provides some process parameters, the flow meter manufacturer helps with the selection, followed by technical discussions and explanations, before the final design is determined!
Vortex flow meters determine the diameter based on the flow rate, and the pipeline then has its diameter changed. The rest is unclear.
