I start by soaking a fine-particle powdered solid salt in an organic solvent, so that the organic impurities contained in the salt dissolve in the solvent. Then, centrifugation is used to separate the solid salt (which is insoluble in the organic solvent) from the solvent. Therefore, I plan to buy a centrifuge; experts, please recommend one for me. You can contact me. The requirements for the centrifuge are as follows: 1. It should be able to handle continuous feeding and discharging, allowing for easy and fast processing of large quantities – at least 1–2 tons of solid material per hour. There should be no need for manual handling or using bags to transfer the material, as that would be too troublesome and slow； 2. There is a filter cloth or some other mechanism in place to ensure that no solid particles are present in the filtrate, thus achieving complete separation of solids and liquids. I don’t know which style of centrifuge to choose; please recommend one for me.

A horizontal screw-type discharge sedimentation centrifuge might not work; I need a high centrifugal force to remove as much solvent as possible, so that as little residual solvent remains in the solid material after centrifugation. I saw this type of centrifuge online – is the GKH model horizontal siphon scraper discharge centrifuge a good choice?
It’s definitely a good choice, but the cost of purchasing the equipment is high, ^_^, over 400,000. The graphic on the left shows that
A horizontal two-stage pusher centrifuge will work. Our drum filter isn’t performing well, so we’re thinking of installing another one
A scraper centrifuge would be a good choice – it allows control over the duration of centrifugation and can be washed. I think it’s quite suitable; feel free to contact me if you want more details
