I would like to ask whether all newly built coking plants are still attached to steel mills? Also, what are the uses of the products produced by coking plants, and how are they sold? Thank you
There are steel complexes that build coking plants, as well as independent coking plants.
1. The biggest users of coke are, of course, steel mills. 2. A small amount of it can also be used for barbecuing. 3. The by-products benzene, toluene, and xylene serve as raw materials and solvents in the chemical industry. 4. Sulfur has a wide range of uses. 5. Half of the coke oven gas is used as fuel for reburning in the furnace, while the other half can be converted into pipeline natural gas or LNG through desulfurization and methanation, provided that the methane is concentrated first
