Why can a section of pipeline fall off its support frame? Everyone discussed what the possible reasons might be
1. An unreasonable bracket design is the main reason. The improper positioning of the fixing frame resulted in excessive displacement of the pipeline. 2. When the pipeline is put into use, the temperature rise is too rapid, resulting in excessive local displacement or high local thrust.
1. The pipes were originally designed for normal temperature conditions, but steam was mistakenly used to purge them during operation. 2. The thermal analysis and water hammer analysis of the pipes were incorrect, and the pipe supports were not installed properly. 3. Improper operation, with valves being opened and closed rapidly, caused water hammer effects that impacted the pipes and led to their displacement. 4. The pipes were too close to adjacent thermal pipes, resulting in them being pushed aside by those pipes

I can say with certainty that it’s all the result of force at work. Thermal stress, internal stress, and impact force are all possible; for more details, refer to books on pipeline design.

The question is referring to pipes that aren’t welded at either end; they were placed in the wrong position or have slipped.
