Questions about flow meters

Electromagnetic flowmeter: I’m not sure if the DCS also lacks a flow display. (1) Check whether the voltages output by each circuit on the power supply circuit board are normal, or try replacing the entire power supply circuit board to determine its condition. (2) Check the liquid flow direction and whether the tube is filled with liquid. (3) Check whether the electrodes on the inner wall of the transmitter are covered with a layer of liquid scum; for measurement liquids prone to scum formation, regular cleaning is required. If there is no signal output, it is also possible that the converter components are damaged.

Excitation, electrodes, signals, power supply......! In your case, I think either there’s a problem with the excitation or with the signals. Either the excitation fails to generate a magnetic field, or the electromotive force generated by the electrodes cannot be transmitted through the signal converter ； Regarding the first possibility, I’m not sure whether there would be no signal at all in the absence of excitation, or if there would be slight fluctuations; therefore, I think it’s a problem with the signal converter...! Pay special attention to the connection between the electrode and the signal converter, as well as any issues with the signal converter itself... I’m not sure if what I’m saying is correct; I don’t have much experience in maintaining electromagnetic flowmeters. This is just an analysis based on the principles of these instruments, for reference only. If any expert sees my reply, I hope they can give me some guidance on whether what I said is correct and point out any mistakes. I’m also using this post to learn* and test my own ideas. Otherwise, one wouldn’t know whether what they’re saying is correct or not; it would be a waste of time answering this question!

It should be thoroughly checked to see if the actual traffic is passing through. Also, check the meter’s settings regarding the flowmeter to see if there is a programming error
