Dear seniors: Does anyone know how much temperature can be reduced per meter by a 14*2 stainless steel pipe?
If it’s heat exchange between the inside and outside, the temperature difference needs to be known; if it’s simply heat conduction from end A to end B, I need guidance from experts

For example: if the fluid inside the pipe is at 35 °C and the temperature outside the pipe is also 35 °C, then after traveling 10,000 meters, the temperature will not decrease at all. Also, is heat preservation available? Steel pipe wall thickness? Wait, wait, wait. So when asking a question, make it clear; otherwise, who would want to waste time?
I’ve learned something: at room temperature, for a 1-meter-long stainless steel strip with dimensions of 14*2 and a wall thickness of 2 mm, if air at 300 degrees is introduced at end A, what temperature will be reached at end B?
This post was last edited by wiseboy on 2015-6-30 21:05. In short, it’s just a complete heat transfer problem; when it comes to heat transfer, everyone is aware of the complexity involved. Under the current conditions, at least 7 more data points are needed.
For the rest, at least the flow rate and pressure need to be known……

Can I take this as you being sarcastic with me? It’s a challenge for newcomers; please don’t be so direct. For this situation, you can give examples; that’s exactly what I want to know. Or you can tell me which area it relates to so that I can look it up myself. Thank you!

Parameters are still missing; I need to know the flow rates, flow directions, and temperatures of the fluids on the hot and cold sides. That’s more or less what counts.
