No way! It’s not easy to launch coal chemical projects; the requirements are extremely strict.
It seems there aren’t many new ones~ It’s still those reported a few years ago, and they’re all at a standstill~!
There have been hardly any projects since 2014, and those that were completed were not allowed to operate. Banks tightened their lending policies. The oil supply crisis caused by Ukraine and Russia has passed, and Saudi Arabia’s actions in the oil market led to a sharp drop in oil prices. Environmental approvals were halted, and the entire industry came to a standstill; it seems that there will be an oversupply of coal production as well!
