Why install a level switch? Is it a **requirement of the standards? Why set the alarm at a low level? Is it a **requirement of the standards? When were the **specifications for installing level switches implemented?

Mainly oil tanks and hazardous material storage tanks.
Level switches and pressure switches are both hard interlock signals; of course, interlock signals can also be implemented through DCS or PLC programming
