Sulfur slag is generally a by-product of organic desulfurization processes or sulfur removal in chemical plants. When it is not profitable to produce acid from pyrite, adding sulfur slag to the mineral powder is a way to reduce costs. Sulfur slag typically contains 30% water, with a solid content of around 70%; the main challenges are the removal of water and residual organic substances. Please discuss ways to remove the water and organic materials from sulfur slag. Drying, centrifugation, filter pressing, or something else? Please help!
