Operation of the desulfurization tower

Our facility is equipped with a set of gas holders along with desulfurization towers; the desulfurization towers use packing, and gas (methane) comes into contact with liquid (lean solution) in a counter-current manner. Its performance has not been very good recently. The sulfur content at low power is around 10,000 ppm, while the sulfur content after leaving the tower is around 200. The circulation volume of the lean liquid is about 4 tons (which is also the case under normal conditions). Let’s discuss what has caused this situation.
How much is the off-tower control for the desulfurization tower? Is there any fluctuation in the gas volume of the gas holder?
Has the filler been moved or replaced?
There are certainly multiple reasons for this; solvent foaming, insufficient concentration of the lean liquid, excessive operating load on the tower, and so on, can all lead to poor performance of the desulfurization tower.
Is the total sulfur content in the feed gas constant? Is there any change? Increase the circulation volume of the amine solution and analyze the regeneration efficiency of the amine solution; there are really many possible factors at play
