There’s a problem with the Honeywell DCS system in our facility. I would like to ask the experts for their advice: one of the operation stations can no longer connect to the local network and thus cannot be used. The Honeywell FTE Adapter shows that the network cable is disconnected, but the network status lights on both the switch and the computer are flashing. I’d like to ask how to solve this problem. I would appreciate it if experts in control systems could offer some advice. I’ve only just started using this software, so any help is greatly appreciated!
Connect the previously configured operation station to this network port. If it works properly, then it’s a problem with the computer (operation station); have it repaired. If there’s no connection, then it’s an issue with the FTE network. You should check for problems with the network cable first; if it’s a configuration issue with FTE, I’ll message you privately
Check this control station to see if the server IP address has been added to the HOST file. If you’re not sure, you can compare it with the HOST file in other operation stations. In the STATION menu, under connect, you also need to enter the server name and specify which station number this one is.
