As the title suggests: the designed energy consumption for a 400,000 tons per year lubricant isomerization dewaxing unit is 53 kilograms of standard oil, while that for a 1,200,000 tons per year hydrocracking unit is 38 kilograms of standard oil. Is it true that smaller units have higher energy consumption, or are there other reasons for this? I hope those who are experts in this field can provide some guidance.
It is basic common sense that a device with lower power consumption has higher efficiency. Of course, it also depends on the technologies used in the design; reducing energy consumption requires significant investment, and economic feasibility must be considered.
