In the MBR tank, the COD value is 50 at the inlet and 26 at the outlet, but both ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus remain unchanged between the inlet and outlet streams
There is a problem with the measurement; at least the total phosphorus level will change.
The MBR pore size cannot filter everything. Ammonia nitrogen or nitrate nitrogen will not be retained either. Whether total phosphorus is retained depends on its form; if it exists as phosphate, then the amount entering should be equal to the amount exiting. Whether organic phosphorus is intercepted depends on its molecular weight. Personal opinion, for reference only
