Why is an aluminum alloy material used for breather valves?

Hello everyone, I have a question. I’ve been purchasing vent valves recently, and according to the information provided by the manufacturers, these vents are made of aluminum alloy. I’m quite puzzled about this, as when I purchase regular valves in the past, they were made of carbon steel or stainless steel; I’ve never used aluminum alloy before. I would like to ask why aluminum alloy is used for vent valves
In my opinion, aluminum alloys are lightweight first and foremost, especially for larger breather valves. Secondly, aluminum alloys have good heat and corrosion resistance.
It must be for weight reduction and corrosion resistance; aluminum alloy is too poor in terms of wear resistance.
I think it is to prevent sparks from occurring during inspection and cleaning, for safety reasons
These days, conventional breath valves hardly ever have aluminum alloy shells; they all come with carbon steel or stainless steel housings. Some special breather valves still use aluminum alloy.
